Default How does this happen?

My husband just called, he has been talking to our bank about some loan options. the bank jut called him, said we have a problem. They pulled our credit report from trans union, and it has my husband listed as deceased. Its obviously not true but still kinda creepy and weird. We are not sure how to fix it.

I'm not quite sure, but you could try this site:

www.creditboards.com

There's a lot of helpful info there on credit related topics.

You should be able to go to the trans union site and let them know it's wrong. They had me owning a home that I never owned. I disputed the information and they changed it. It's a long process, though, so be patient.

Good luck!

you wouldnt be the first..LOL

He got home fomr work, called transunion. It was a Circuit City that reported him deceased, back in June 2008. We haven't done anything with that card in years and now they are out of business. Very weird! They said to give it 2 business days to get corrected
