Silly I know. 18 was awesome - Lotto Tickets and at that time Cigarettes (not now though) 21 Drinking (not now either..lol) but 30?? I cant think of any milestones. Well I do know one but its for another forum..LMAO. just kidding

Thanks for the Welcome Lori. I am also married over 10 years and we have 4 kids together 3,4,7,&9
I got all my weight off and more with the last one. Went thru the Police Academy and Everything then gained 30lbs. UGH!

inkedMama I have no idea why 30 would be a good age...lol. I thought 29 was bad. 28 didn't seem to bad but 29 hit me. I am not as inked as you are. I only have 2 tattoo's but I do like Piercings. I have had my tongue pierced 5 times. (before anyone even knew you could pierce your tongue) before it was a big thing. I also have the top and bottom of my navel done. For some reason people think that is weird. I haven't gotten any piercings on the outside of my face but I have thought of a few I want.

What is your method of weightloss? I did Atkins before and was very successful, but I feel it does not work for my body anymore- too many attempts maybe. So now I am counting calories. I am losing weight but not even doing that right!

I'm glad to see some other people dreading the big 3-0! This is definitely not where I thought I'd be at this point in my life but maybe by this time next year I will be!

Turning 30 is wonderful! I'm loving being in my 30's. Life just gets better and you are more in tune and comfortable with who you really are in your 30's. I wouldn't return to my 20's for anything! Don't fear it ladies, EMBRACE IT!

Thank you All.

I will look at it this way, the older I get, the older my kids get, and the easier it will be to do things. Like go to an amusement park and Everyone being able to ride the rides and not just the older kids.

Hello , I'm not yet 30 either (I'm 29) but it seems like I don't relate as much to the people on the 20-something board so I decided to check in here too! I'll probably just bounce around between the 2

When I turned 30 in December I made my husband promise me he, or anyone else would not throw me a surprise birthday party. I don't like surprise parties for myself and I didn't feel like celebrating. Now I just figure it is what it is. Besides the 5 lb gain from the holidays (grrr), 30 isn't so bad. I can do something about my weight, I can't about my age so I might as well get used to it.

well I am hoping to have this extra weight gone by the time I am 30 and I can enjoy being 30. I shy away from things now becasue of my weight. I had 4 kids in my 20's seems like I was nothing but pregnant so maybe I can look at turning 30 in a good way. I need to start planning things now. Like a beach trip in a bikini

The 30s are fabulous! I was laid up with surgery on my 30th but let me tell you, I was glad to be out of my 20s. I was so stupid then and needy, ugh. But now, watch out!! lol....Wisdom comes with age and believe me that is true. So enjoy your 30s, like someone said you are more in tuned to you.
