Default I have to go shopping for....

A NEW PAIR OF JEANS!!!!!

My jeans are just ridiculous right now. They are way to big in the waist. I need to go a size down.

Even though I haven't been spot on in my eating the past two days, (my mom had surgery and things were a bit scary) I have managed to shrink a bit. I am only going to WalMart for a pair because I hope to be too big for the new pair soon.

So, after seeing my mom it is off to Wally World! This is as much YOUR victory as mine. If it wasn't for all the motivation you all give me, I wouldn't be a shrinkin' shamrock.

Way to go, SARAH! Don't get too attached to this new pair, though, because I get it won't be long at all before THOSE are too small, as well!

Great job!

I am sorry to hear about your mom, however ---- sending lots of high energy and good vibes your direction. Hang in there, Lean Mean Green Colleen Team Leader, and try to take of yourself along the way, too.

Thanks all.
Mom needed more help then I anticipated so I actually did not get to go to the store. I spent 4 hours cleaning, cooking, doing laundry and taking care of the pets. (All while Diva youngest sister got ready to go to the library -for an hour- so she could get a book to write a paper. ) Dad was off running errands and my other sister has been MIA through the whole ordeal.

Then I had to go home and take care of my own group so I will hit the store if not today (probably not at this point, I told the boys we'd go swimming) then tomorrow.

As for pictures...um. I haven't been in a picture in YEARS. I don't know if I am ready for that. I keep thinking I should take before pictures, even if I am already a few pounds down. However, everytime I try I am so upset with what I see I delete them. (Plus, I got BUTCHERED when I went to get a "cute super short" haircut. That doesn't help.)

I am not sure I am ready to face the cold hard reality of a camara yet.

Irish,
You might want to try those jeans on to see if you have gone down 2 sizes. I bought a couple of pairs of slacks one size smaller. I even hemmed them without trying them on because I was so sure I had the correct size. When I put them on to wear, they were big on me. I should have totally skipped that size!

If you are ordering, maybe order one pair one size smaller and another two sizes smaller. Even if the smallest are too tight now, it will feel so good to slip them on in a few weeks time!

Don't forget thrift stores or consignment shops! You might be able to pick up a great new pair of pants for just a couple of dollars. I know after I make a trip to Goodwill here, they will have several pairs of nice Lane Bryant dress pants that I just can't wear anymore and don't plan on ever wearing again. I tend to find Avenue and Lane Bryant stuff at my Goodwill all the time.

I got some 18's at oldnavy! And found some on a clearance rack at walmart too...I'm not spending a lot of money on this size.
