Default Fructose Intolerant

Hi everyone! I checked around a little but couldn't find anything on this topic. I'm currently in the process of losing about 20 lbs, but I've hit a bit of a roadblock. I've been fructose intolerant since birth, but discovered only recently that my consuming fruit and fructose products was contributing to my insatiable hunger, weight gain and depression. I am now doing my best to cut out most fructose, but I'm struggling to find healthy snacks, since I used to mostly snack on fruit and granola bars.

Does anyone have any snack options that have no [or very little] fructose in them? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I can only have 1-2 fruits/day max and then only later in the day (if I have them in the morning, I'm ravenous almost right after).

My snacks are usually raw veggies (red pepper strips, zucchini sticks, baby carrots, cuke slices, etc.) with hummus or LF Greek yogurt. I pair up my fruit snack with either a little almond butter (natural PB would do too) or LF Greek yogurt. The protein seems to offset the sugar.

Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely going to try the protein combo. For me I have to eat the fruit in the morning or I can't sleep all night o_0
