I wonder, is this like the Lotte Berk Method, which dancers use? My Pilates teacher now & then throws in movements that are based on Lotte Berk, rather than classical Pilates, and she has a particularly challenging dumbbell series in which we only use 2-lb or 3-lb weights, but we keep going & going & going & going continuously from different angles.

No, it's not like Lotte Berk or any other method, really. The cardio is very dancey and the mat work has you moving in all different directions and using multiple muscles with each move.
I can't stand Tracy Anderson, she has this know-best attitude and she keeps saying "teeny-tiny", which is extremely annoying.
But I have seen real people achieving amazing results thanks to her method, so I'm getting ready to give it a try!
I bought her Beginner Cardio Dance and Post-Pregnancy Workout (I'm not post-partum, but this is the one that has been recommended to me as the best starting point as it includes more instruction than her other dvds) and I'm going to start on them as soon as my TOM is over.
