Default plateaus?

anyone know how to get past them? It seems like just when I get psyched after losing a few pounds, another plateau hits and two weeks have gone by and I've lost nothing. It really stinks, I'd like a little more momentum.

I've heard some people say it's not really a plateau until it lasts a month or something but, If I don't lose for say 2 or 3 weeks I get discouraged and really down on myself.

I upped my calories last week and started walking again.. ( i was doing the biggest loser cardio max the weeks I stalled) and low and behold this morning I had lost 3 lbs.

I guess it's different for everyone. Maybe you are like me and not eating enough?

Take a look at your daily calorie intake then reevaluate .

Good Luck!

You are doing great -- 24 lbs lost, WOW!! Maybe you could switch up what you are doing for exercise? Swap one kind of cardio for another? Or increase the duration? Stalling sucks, but it's better than regaining!! Keep up the great work!

Today I made a field day. A friend and I went swimming in the morning, ate breakfast, then played tennis, then ate lunch, then went bowling. We're going to attempt tennis and Four square tomorrow. I'm trying not to rely too much on official workouts, I wanna do stuff that feels more like incorporating physical activity into the rest of my life. OH! I also signed up for T'ai Chi I can't wait for that.
