  • Made it through Friday night with no vending machine so came in OP, Saturday was not so great - started fine and declined... Hospital breakfast to protein bar for lunch to large shortbread cookie at the coffee shop at the hospital to Domino's Pizza leftover from DH & DSS's dinner when I got home close to 8:00pm... Today was better - DH's birthday, but he wanted a healthier day himself so we did ground white turkey tacos and skipped the chips and salsa! Calories came in fine with my plan.

    Funny coincidence - when I was on the prowl at the hospital Saturday afternoon looking for some sweet something the first thing I saw at the gift shop was individually wrapped Laffy Taffy in my favorite flavor for sale right by the register... It made me turn tail and run right out of there!

    I did walk for 30 mins at the hospital Saturday, as well - did four brisk laps around the large parking lot, and picked up two nurses from my MIL's floor on their breaks walking with me starting with lap two. They both are interested in dieting and exercise and we had talked about it some this and last weekend, so when they saw me through the window walking they came down to walk with me. I thought that was pretty cool. (I kind of butted, politely, into their conversation last weekend when I stayed over the first time and overheard them talking about cutting down to 600-800 calories per day because they weren't losing...)

    lately i've been waking up in the middle of night at least twice and have gone to the kitchen to eat!! i wake up craving carbs but try to choose wisely and eat an apple or some other fruit......sometimes i give in and have a little too much bread anybody else experience this?
