Default I Had A Small Gain This Week

My first week on WW I lost 6.6 lbs. This week I gained 1.2. I'm not too discouraged by it because I'm still down 5.2lbs from my starting weight. They did say it's probably fluid, but I'm just wondering if I should be doing something different. I have a terrible cold and haven't been able to do much walking so I know that I do need to exercise more. I typically only eat about half of my points per day. I was under the assumption that as long as you stay below your points you will lose weight. However since joining this site I have seen some threads where people are trying to make sure they use up all of their points. No one at the meetings has mentioned that to me. Should I be doing this also? It's kind of strange to think that eating more will make you lose weight, but if I'm supposed to I'll give it a try.

You really should try and eat all of your daily points at least. It will keep you out of starvation mode where your body will try to hold onto what you want to lose. Just keep at it like you are and try to eat all the daily points. Sorry you weren't feeling to well.

Thanks. I'm going to give it a try this week and see what happens. Hopefully I'll see some good results this Thursday.

Hi Missy,

My leader says the same thing about daily points (what Run4Change said)- but I totally share your difficulty in accepting that you have to eat more to lose! It's difficult to get your mind around, but apparently it works.
