I Just Ate The Most Fulfilling Sandwich...
It consisted of:
Two slices of sourdough bread
Four slices of tomato
Four ounces of lettuce
Five slices of smoked turkey deli meat
Half a tablespoon of low fat mayonnaise
Just for 350 calories!!! It was very filling, and tasted glorious!
Group hug ---->

Sandwiches are under-rated IMHO. There are so many fabulous breads ... lovely cheeses ... low fat meats ... alfalfa sprouts!

Oh sounds so yummy!!! I love turkey sandwiches! I have a very unfortunate mayo obsession though, eek! I found some really yummy all natural honey mustard and I definitely think I found a new favorite! Three cheers for healthy, yummy foods!

I LOVE sandwiches. If you use the 45 calorie bread and spicy brown mustard instead of light mayo, there is enough room to add a slice of (real) cheese all for under 225 calories (including loads of veggies...lettuce, tomato and onion). Yum, I wonder how many of those I've eaten in the last year...probably around 350. <wink>
