Default B12 and B6 for weight loss oral vs. injection

I've had several friends who have gone to a nutritionist and gotten b12/b6 injections and lost A LOT of weight. But their injections have cost between $40 and $70 a week...I can not afford this right now. My question is what would be the difference between getting the injections and takinmg the vitamin orally? Someome told me they thought if you took the b12 and b6 3 times a day orally it would do the same as the injection once a week. Does any one have experience with this? Any success stories of taking the vitamin orally?

B12 and B6 don't help with weight loss but they do help with mood enhancement, especially if you are deficient. I take B vitamins myself. Some people swear by sublingual b vitamins but I find the vitamin pill is just fine.

As for the injections and weight loss, its just a gimmick to sell a weight loss program that usually involves a very low calorie diet.
