Talking Envious Yet Easy Veggie Chili

So Yummy this is the Super Lazy Method!
(You can Also use ground Turkey or Beef I just didn't have any thawed)
1 24 oz Jar of Salsa I like Stop and Shop (Giant) Traditional (or Southwest if you can digest corn)
1 bag of MorningStar Farms Crumbles its about 4 cups
2 14 oz cans of Black Beans (DO NOT DRAIN!)
1 14 oz can of Red beans Drained (or more black but there isn't room in a standard saucepan for more Liquid!)
Optional Seasonings
Dried Minced Onion I probably use about a tbsp
Janes Mixed up salt (it has "italian seasoning" in it)
Pepper
Chili Powder
My Favorite Cumin soo good gives a toasty background flavor

1. Nonstick Saucepan
2. Dump in Salsa
3. Dump in Crumbles
4 Dump in Black beans
5 Dump in bonus Beans
6. Assorted Seasoning
7. Cook Till heated through 10-15 minutes

In this incarnation there is about 260 calories per cup and approximately 8 cups per recipe.
I've got the protein grams at home.

The Bonus of the Black beans is they're a great source of iron

Sounds like someone who lives alone could easily just doctor up one can of beans by adding salsa and cheese to taste and then make just 3 servings.
I need stuff like this cause I am not a big fan of beans and need to take gas x before I eat them but they are great protein and fiber so I am willing to try.

I also LOVE making hummus from canned garbanzo beans (chick peas) tahini and a little oil with some lemon and spices and then messuring out small servings at a time. It refridgerates well and is high protein.

Before You stock up on them, You're going to want to see how your bod reacts!
I love beans but my sis who also had Roux en Y can't eat them so much
Making a mild chili is great tho once you're off soft foods
eggs, Cheese and Luncheon meat got me through a lot!
I have to try making hummus!
Also get a can of veggie soup(drain and eat) you'll be craving vegetables after all the protein fest
