I recently had a few salads at a chain of restaurants that I love here in Jersey (Carolina Blue and Telford Inn). I have had salads here with cranberry-apple vinaigrette as well as pomegranite vinaigrette. These dressings were VERY light, slightly sweet and I couldn't really detect any vinegar. They were very light, almost like there was just a thin coating of juice on the lettuce. ALL the dressings I've tried in the store are VERY strong and they just don't compare. Anyone have a good recipe for a dressing like that? I've asked in the restaurant, they claim not to know what it is.
