Default Let Me Introduce Myself

Hello all, I'm new to this, but not new to the whole blogging scene. I am trying to lose 100 lbs in a year or at least be close to that goal by next year. I'd appreciate your help and any ideas. I'm excited to begin my new journey.

That's exciting, i'm going to try that, I"m so confused with whether to go with watching my carbs and calories or my fat intake and calories, which has worked best for you? This seems like a great support group and it is nice to meet you both!

Nice to meet you as well. Ipersonally Just totally count my calories only. I do not pay attention to fat or carbs though Alot of people do. I know I will proboly get kicked in the hiny for saying that From some people on here. LOL Anyways, I Have just counted calories only Like I was saying, and basically I Still eat what I always did But the portions are way way way smaller Or well Less often definetly But I am full ~I think I ate from boredom.OH, Recently I must add I started walking indoors for my exercise I started out at 40 minutes a day (2X20) And Am officially at 90 Minutes a day (But not all at once) Plus I do my household chores more often I Do not get alot of exercise elsewhere for I am a stay at home mom.I have been doing the walking for 9 days total.Anyways, Just message me Anytime~I am online most days.

No kicking in the hiney from me!! LOL Everyone has to do what works for them. What works for some doesn't work for others. I've lost 25 pounds since the end of June and don't necessarily watch anything but calories. I gave myself 2 years to lose the weight so I didn't have any timeline looming over my head. Slow and sure wins the race for me. So does watching what I eat and allowing myself a treat on Saturdays. I also try to take a walk every day. It's harder now that it's cold out but I have a strenuous job so that helps.

You can do it... just figure out what works for you and most importantly, don't expect miracles. It took time to gain it, it will take time to lose it. Best of luck to you!!
