Question 8 Minutes in the Morning for Real Shapes, Real Sizes

This book is by Jorge Cruise who also has other books like the 3 hour diet. Has anybody read this book or any of his others and used his plan? If so what have your results been? How has it changed your life?

I haven't read those books because anything that takes only 8 minutes, IMHO, just can't have that amazing results. Losing weight, getting strong and healthy takes more than 8 minutes... Just my honest opinion...

They say that for cardiac health you need to raise your heart rate to above 120 and keep it there for at least 20 minutes. You can't do that in only 8 minutes.

Lol, I did 9 mins on the treadmill today. warmed up for 20 secs and then ran one mile

But I think for long term health extended (20min or more) exercise is beneficial.

Is that the author who advocates extremely heavy weight lifting for very short periods of time 1-2x/week?

My ex-husband lost 30# on this plan and has kept it off for over five years. It worked great for him. For maintenance, he eats the Jorge way breakfast, lunch then whatever he wants within reason for dinner and on holidays.
