yeah, been there done that. I was actually heavier than you (and shorter) when I took my starter pictures- but it only gets better from here!

Thanks for sharing your starting photographs which I know from my own experience of being more than camera shy at the beginning must have been extremely hard to do. I was no where as brave as you when I posted my photographs I had lost the bulk of my weight.

Trust me now it only gets better and it is a great yard stick to show you how far you have come when you take other photographs along the way of your progress.

Sashiko ... a big THANK YOU for doing this ... I wasnt going to take any (new) beginning photos ... but tomorrow I will get them done ... not sure if I will post them .. but I will get them done. Good luck hun .. your already ahead of me and the same height so dont be so hard on yourself .. first steps are never easy .. but then the rest of the footsteps just follow along (even the mis-steps!)

someone on this board once suggested that you post a before picture on your fridge and it helps- even for maintenance- it inspires you or reminds you how far you have come in moments of weakness. I haven't done this but logically it sounds like a very smart idea.

Thank you so much for all the kind words! It makes me feel much better! I think thehardest part was I had my DB take them. But who better then the one person that loves every inch of me "his words". But i still did not want him to see me in that light. Agani thank you all! *HUGS*

I have my before pics in a swimsuit and I think I am going to post them. These women that have posted recently, have inspired me and given me the strength to put the pics out there. I have always been afraid as I fear someone recognizing me. Not anymore.
