I have chocolate of some sort daily. My calcium chews are chocolate. I have chocolate protein powder (got a new kind yesterday....mmmmm......very chocolatey), or a square of dark chocolate. There are lots of ways to hit the chocolate note in your life.
I have a square of dark chocolate. I never want more than two, and almost always don't want more than one. Works great. Other chocolate, on the other hand, I find harder to stop with.
I agree with the ladies above that you CAN get a chocolate fix and be successful in weight loss, but there are times I know when I am not in control. Then, I better just not start!
If you don't feel you'll have control over the chocolate, I would throw it away. If that's not possible, I'd chew gum for a while.
Ooooo have some dark chocolate. I find that I simply can't and don't want to gobble it down . . . like I can and do with milk chocolate. Just a square or two, let it slowly melt in your mouth, yum! Portion, portion, portion it out!
I'm sorry, i think you should have chocolate . I try to always give in a little to my chocolate cravings that way i don't devour a whole bag ful of chocolates. I keep hot chocolate, and dove dark chocolates, or pudding cups around and manage to work some into my plan everyday.
If you know one will lead to many, throw away whatever you are tempted by. Get it out of your sight, leave the area, drink water, excercise, read a book, you don't have to eat the chocolate if you don't want to.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. My mother used to say that to me when I wanted something that I could live without. Another favorite of hers was mentioning all the poor Ethiopian children who were starving to death while big fat me wined about wanting a candy bar.
When I want chocolate, I want chocolate. Nothing I eat can stop my cravings except for chocolate. I've tried eating around it, but it never works. Set aside calories for a treat every once in a while. It'll keep you from not losing your mind.
Thanks guys..im relieved to say that i didnt eat the chocolate.. i had a chocolate meal replacement shake instead..tastes good and is good fr you yummo
I've found that allowing myself to have a limited amount of guilt-free chocolate regularly, if I want it, has resulted in me decreasing the amount of chocolate I eat overall.
