I was just wondering how healthy Vegan "subsitutes" were for you. Such as vegan butter, mayo, cheese, egg, meat? I want to go totally vegan, but my boyfriend (who loves his steak and hot dogs!) keeps telling me they load chemicals and other weird/unhealthy/fattening things in those products to make them taste more like the "real thing." Ummmm, has he looked at the ingredients in his hot dogs? I don't think processed food is good for you no matter what kind of vegetarian you are or aren't.
