Default Members in SW Ontario

Hello all,

After talking with SusanB (who sadly won't be able to join us) I've decided to try organizing a SW Ontario meet-up. We did a small one during the summer and it was really nice putting some faces (real faces) to other members. I'm horrible at organizing, but I'll give it a shot. My schedule is a little nuts, but I was thinking Nov 1st. or 2nd. That should take me past mid-terms and hopefully doesn't conflict with other tests/projects. We can play around with dates if those suit nobody though. I know there are some people from the Kitchener area and some from Hamilton, so what I'd like to know (without mentioning any specific places/times) is who is interested and which cities they could make a meeting in. You can PM me the information or post it here. I promise I'll come back and look for posts!

ie. for RealCdn (Anne)

Hamilton (preferred), Kitchener (okay)
Nov 2nd (preferred), Nov 1st (okay)

Feel free to throw in another city if I've missed an obvious one.

(I posted this in the Crazy Canucks thread, but thought I'd try and spread the news here as well!)

I'll keep that in mind as I only come in and out to go to school and occasionally go to McQuestion park.

Yep, that's the one. I think I found it because of a post you made. I've been trying to get there on Thursday when I have a 2-hour break from classes. Although this week I had 5 hours to kill while waiting for an evening test so I was there yesterday. As the weather gets colder I will go back to using the fitness center at the college though. I'm a big wuss when it comes to cold weather!

I have still yet to figure out how big the track is though. I'd love to know. I try to do 5 laps a night, sometimes more, sometimes less. Depends how I'm feeling. I've looked online but can't find anything.

I used Google Earth last night to figure out roughly how much I'd walked yesterday (~5k). I did a couple of circuits, some detours, and walked along the path to Upper Gage (then back). I was doing it for time, but was curious. I loaded it up and just did the big circle path - it's about 2/3 km.

So the big track circle is about 2km once around?? I'm confused.
