I set mine currently to 130... I first thought 120 then a friend said that would be too much. It was an ex so maybe I shouldn't have listened to him.
However I used to weight 115 in my early 20s and 104 in high school. I just don't know. I want to be realistic but also make sure I set a "good" goal.
Can you believe I never really thought I was skinny? My 2 best friends in HS were under 100 # so I was the "big" one even though none of us weighed enough to give blood.
Well, I'm 5'4 and I have a pretty large frame. In fact, one of my old boyfriends who I'm still friendly with 28 plus years later, once said " I could be a line backer for the NY Giants!" He said it without an ounce of malice, so we both just laughed and laughed. I have big shoulders; there's nothing I can do about it. I feel I'm almost at the perfect weight for myself. 145 allows me to have a five pound cushion and still wear a loose size 10. I'm way past wanting to be skinny. I just want everything to be in a healthy range when I go to the doctor for physicals.
If I may add my two cents in, I would allow yourself to see what feels good and is realistically manageable for you to maintain over time without feeling deprived.
I wish you continued success- I know you will do it!!
I just picked it out of thin air. According to the charts, I should be anywhere from around 130 something to 177, or something like that. I would be happy under 200, but I've got my goal at 180 currently. If i ever get there, I'll assess where I'm at then,
I picked what I've been healthy at before and added 5lbs for age/having given birth. ha. Really, though, I was always good around 135. I start to look REALLY thin around 125, and skeletal below 120. I figure I'll reanalyze as I get closer.
I set my goal to be around the weight range of when I was in High School.
And to think back then I thought I was "bigger" than other girls! How stupid to think!
Well to start with I'm tall 5'10". I picked my goal weight of 150lbs because the guy was giving me the tour asked my goals and such(at that time I wasn't so fat) and he said that I'd be a knock out if I lost 30lbs, I was 180lbs at that moment.

I never thought I was skinny either... people told me that next to her, I was chunky... or my fave... pleasantly plump.

Oh, I love the "but she has such a pretty face" line
At any rate, I set my new goal for a size I'd like to return to. On my first journey down this road I lost 160+ lbs and was down to a size 8, despite my smaller frame, I looked horrible-people asked if I was ill. I felt most comfortable & healthy at a size 10-12, so that's my goal.
I measured my wrist like I mentioned before and based on that it means I'm large frame.... so I can't believe I was 104 in H.S. and still don't remember feeling skinny. Crazy! I can't imagine getting back done to that again. I was the same height.
I have been 5'2" since i was about 10 years old. I matured early. I had a size c chest at the time too.... Men were horrible
