So far this year is a bust. I made my boyfriend sit and watch it with me (ok, ok, he was on the computer lol), and he wanted to go out since we were kidless for the night. Told him after the show. So, 9 rolls around, and, CRAP!, it's another 2 hour show. I was already bored, so I shut the tv off and we went out for a bit.
This morning I watched the 2 minute recap on NBC, and that's all I needed.
Normally by week 2 I've found someone in the crop of contestants to either love or hate, but this season it's just "meh". No one really stands out for me. Possibly Jerry, but only because I'm waiting to see if he lives thru the end of show. Sad isn't it? That's the highlight of the season... let's see if we can kill off a contestant.
I did like Bob ripping up the yellow line. Mr. Yoga was getting his mad on.
This is my first season watching it. I had been wrestling to figure out what's so doggone exciting about the show. I will say, however, that Bob is very hot. Now I don't feel so weird about not being very impressed by the show.
I do sort of like the father with all the health problems and his daughter. I really hope his health improves.
I tend to get bored with all reality shows after a couple seasons - and TBL isn't any different really. I did start watching it again this season though. TBL wasn't always a 2 hours show was it? Last season I think it was? Anyways, I really despise being hooked on a show where I have to sit for 2 hours! I guess it doesn't help that 2 out of my 3 favorite teams are already gone.
Me too. I remember being so anxious for it to come back on, but now I end up browsing on my laptop before its halfway through. I don't know what it is though. Maybe too much presentation, not enough working out? Like did Allison really have to list every one of their weight losses and say 2% 37 times before the bidding began? Its like half an hour worth of show in two hours!
