Default Progress Pics

Hey, friends. Touching base. Not much time for more than work and training. Check out my blog to see the 14month transformation.

Thanks for all the encouragement along the way!

JG: My you have been busy! Your updated photos really reveal all of your hard work. I also enjoyed your descriptions of Train the Trainer day. How fun. I wonder if this was her second workout for the day on top of yours and if she was sore the next day. Great job on your continued success in making fitness such a priority in your life too.

You look great! You have lost so much through the hips and belly. And your arms are looking more toned. Congrats!

i thought the "how to lose weight" section on the right of your blog was really well written--one question though, what is BMR? i want to try your plan but i'm not familiar with that

thanks,
ella

It doesn't help that I'm dealing with some body dysmorphia, having gone from a 26/28 to a 14/16...so his words planted a seed I'm really struggling with.

Daily I get positive reinforcement from coworkers, gym acquaintances, and then the male population when I'm out-and-about. So, when someone I care about says that, it throws my head into a weird space.

I keep going to my log, looking at the pic to tell myself it exists and he was a doofus.

You look great! It will take a long time for your mind's eye to adjust. And don't forget, even thin people look in the mirror and seem themselves as fat at times, so I don't think it ever really stays in perspective.

Comparison pictures and measurements will really help your mind.
