I am down 3lbs, and I moved to hour workouts! I am really surprised that I didn't lose more since I barely started and I am eating right and exercising. Not complaining, I am just saying at the beginning you can lose 20 lbs quickly then it slows down... I keep telling myself I am building muscle... lol Or this time I am going to really have to work hard for it!

Dee, I've always done best on my diet when dh was TDY for extended periods. Make this time your own, to move toward your goals. It will help the time pass more quickly and you can enjoy showing off when he gets back, lol.
I too went on an overeating hiatus for a couple months... I had lost almost 50 a few months ago, gained back quite a bit. Weigh in today was 270.2--- down 33 pounds from the start, but nowhere near the almost 50 I was at before!!!
So it starts NOW. If I lose 2 pounds a week, I can be at 230 for New Years... that's a good weight... and attainable... now I just gotta DO IT!
Congrats to everyone!! Its been a little over 2 weeks since I'm back on track - and I finally saw the scale move down! I lost 2.8 of the 6.6 I had gained. And I'm less than 20 lbs away from my first mini goal. If I work hard - I know I can do it by the end of the year!!!
Yay for everyone's success! Thursday is weigh-in day for me and my mom. She stepped on the scale...not so good. I stepped on the scale and I'm down 2.2lbs! That's the most it's been in a couple weeks! My mom used to be my motivation and today she said that I was her's!
