Default 300+ Weekly Weigh-in July to December

What better way to continue your commitment to your continued health by checking and tracking your weekly weigh-ins for 2008.

Jump in with whatever measure of accountability fits your plan: scale, inches, body fat % etc.

New thread - wow, I guess that means that the year is half over. I'm happy to say that I'm down 2.0 lbs this week to 290.8. I've been retaining water like mad this week so yesterday I made a point to drink more than I usually do. It worked as I'm actually 2.2 pounds lighter than yesterday morning. I didn't need to weigh myself to know it had worked though. No sleep lines that stayed while I was cooking breakfast.

Weighed in on Monday at 313.2, down 3.2 since the previous week and making my total for the year 22.2. I hit my first 20 lbs! While I can't really see a difference yet (although people have started to comment), I can fit in old scrubs that didn't fit two months ago, and I'm not hurting after a two hour hike.

My next 20 lbs will bring me lower than I have been since hurricane Katrina (not a good way to lose weight, really). I wonder what I'll be able to do then?

Weight this morning was 292.0, which is up 1.2 pounds from last week. This isn't a huge shock as I was specifically trying not to lose this week, and the 2.2 lb loss from Sat to Sun last week obviously wasn't a real one. So the only upswing was Monday's weigh-in and the rest of the week was steady (which was the point). So, back to my regular calorie levels and my regular exercise.

This morning, weighed in at 312.0, down 1.2 from last week.

My Christmas goal was 299; I wonder how soon I'll hit it and what my next goal will be?

Default 1st Weigh In

Well, I figure Tuesday is as good a weight in day as any. So here's my stats so far (my beginning stats since I just joined last night):

Weigh in - 310 lbs this morning (18 lbs total lost since April 08)

1st mini goal - 298 lbs by my birthday on 9/28

Hugs!
