I'm just joining the BL challenge for the "We Are Family" challenge. I've heard GREAT things about the support from these challenges, and decided it was time to be part of all the excitement
I have my weight loss goals posted in my signature.. although I doubt that I'm going to hit my August goal... my Labor day goal is still VERY attainable.
I'm hoping to weigh in the lower #180s for the beginning of the next challenge. My other goals are to compelte the 30 day shred, eat at home more often, and be more loyal to my food journal. Those are my "habits' that I'm creating before the next challenge starts!

Morning Ladies....
I cannot wait to start the new challenge....I'm furious with myself for letting "things" get me off track. I was doing so well and could have made my overall goal by now....but it didn't happen. So now, I have to refocus. I have Bob's book and I will be reading/working through that before the next challenge.

Welcome Enygirl!
After much resistance on my part, I began calorie counting yesterday. I'm still a bit overwhelmed about figuring out how to count things...my bff thinks I'm overthinking which is probably correct knowing me! I'm going to try to stay off the scale until the initial weigh ins are due. I've become so scale obsessed that I need to lay off for a while to regroup.

I'd like to be firmly planted in the 180's before the next challenge. I tend to be averaging 1 lb per week, sometimes more or less, and if I keep that up it'll be easy-peasy to meet that goal!
I am ready for the next challenge to start for the accountability... And I plan on taking better advantage of the exercise challenges next time, too. I was pretty off-and-on with the exercise this past time.
Welcome to the new people, hope to get to know you all!

Hey everyone!
I'm so glad to be back to 3FC and the BL challenge. I took a few months off 3FC to focus on other areas of my life. Nothing has changed and everything has changed, so I'm looking forward to a new challenge.
My goal for the next month is to get settled into a new exercise routine and to make a healthy meal plan for each week. Weight-wise, I'm trying to take it 5lbs at a time, with no particular deadline.

Welcome Enygirl & ALL newbies!!!!
Please get you booties in here and post away so we can get to know you!!!!
My plan is to continue doing what I am doing. Calorie count & workout 4 to 5 days a week. Seems to be working, although VERY slowly. But that's ok..I guess.
Vanetta, I have also decided to FINALLY get into Bob's book. I've put it off long enough I think. Danielle (Sugar & Spice) swears by it.

I need to do the same. I have it and keep stopping at the same place....why is accepting your body as it is today so difficult?

My goal for the beginning of the next challenge is to be down 10 lbs. I would love to see 27x! We'll see how it goes. This last week I kind of slacked off, but after seeing a disappointing weigh-in, I am ready to kick things into gear. I WILL do this! I workout at the gym about 3-4 times a week and walk for 35-45 mins 5 times a week. I use a bodybugg and calorie counting to acheive my target deficit. I have noticed that with me there is no 1 lb a week. Either I hit a 1500-1700 calorie deficit per day and lose 3-3.5 lbs a week, or I don't lose at all, even with 1000 calorie deficit per day. It's very strange. Anyway, I look forward to getting to know everyone from the other teams before the challenge starts.

My pre challenge goal is to get out of the 170s. Plus, try to add more fruits and vegetables to my diet. I'm really a meat and potatoes girl, but I know perfectly well what affect THAT diet will have on my body........
As for exercise, my goal is to work up the distance of my runs from 2.5 to 3.25. Plus, keep progressing in my 100 pushup challenge and my regular strength training.
