Default First day of Phase 1!

Well girls, today I have officially started phase 1. I was going to put it off until moving was complete, but I've decided that this needs to be a priority if I'm really going to keep my sugar addiction from coming back out of remission and smacking me in the butt!

13 days off of chocolate/refined sugars!! and Down 6 lbs from when I started this. FANTASTICO

I'm not really looking to lose a ton of weight on phase 1 as much as I'm hoping to kill my sugar cravings so I can have some peace of mind On my way to total fitness and crazy good health!

Awesome Autumn! 9 days left for you! It's good to hear you're feeling good, I'm a little nervous about my energy level without my homemade bread... sigh... I miss you too breadmaker.

Good going, Sciana. Sometimes focusing on something else relieves some of the stress. It's sort of like hitting yourself on the head with a hammer when your leg hurts!
On Phase I, remember to be sure you get your dairy and legume allotment. That will help with the cravings.

I started p1 again today. I have been beaching for over 3 years now and have lost 30 lbs, and I would love to lose 10 vanity lbs before my wedding. If i want to hit that goal i have to be good for the next 3 months! its worth it! We should keep up for the next 2 weeks!

This is day 4 for me. I was getting a little too careless on phase 2 and wanted to do 2 weeks of phase 1 as a tune up.

Whoa...The first time I did this I was really motivated and didn't get as many crazy cravings. This time I'm kicking myself to keep away from subway. Hopefully soon I'll start to feel the cravings subside. I have insulin resistance, which I think makes me crave refined carbs even more. It also throws off my hormones and makes me get ravenous cravings. I'm just sticking to it. I've been perfect so far minus drinking diet pepsi at work the other day.

So 10 more days to go. I think the Olympics starting tonight will motivate me. For whatever reason hearing stories of Athletes waking up EVERY morning for insane workouts without fail and all the sacrifices they make...makes me feel like simply eating right is not that hard.

HI there you are like me too starting phase 1. I have a thyriod problem and did a lot of reseach on the best diet for people with this condition and the diet that always keep coming up was SBD. So far this group has been very supportive and I am glad that I am here with you all. Oh but I will probably not be checking in for a week or so I am going to help my mom move here to Colorado from Oregon and we leave tomorrow. But I am prepared with my book and food lists, any suggestions for fast food places and gas stations would help too.

Have a great day everyone.

Andrea
