Default Wii Fit

Anyone have a Wii Fit and use it? How do you like it? Do you think it's helped you stick with exercise? Is it fun?

And the most important question -- Are you seeing results?

My friend has one, I tried it out yesterday. It was fun, but I can see myself getting bored of it. I had way more fun playing tennis on the wii sport game.

I see it more as a good way to play video games - keeping relatively active instead of just sitting around. It's fun but doesn't get my heart rate up, so I don't count it as exercise. DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) would be better for that.

There are a few threads about Wii Fit around here . . . just put WiiFit (one word) into the search function and a few of them should pop up for you.

I have it and I like it a lot . . . but have to admit thaaat I'm not terribly consistent with it.

Just bought one, have had it a week. I love it. I have done 45 minutes everyday and it's fun. If you are not getting your heart rate, you are in better shape than me! I have also found you can really work out or fib to the computer, whichever you choose. It has helped to get my husband interest in activity with the family.

We just got our wiifit last week and so far I'm liking it. I was impressed that it quickly identified my same area of weakness as my personal trainer: Balance. So now I can focus my wiifit efforts on that area and round it out with cardio and weights on my own.

I love my Wiifit. When it comes to exercising, I usually make excuses on why I don't do it, but with the Wiifit, I'm having fun with it. Sometimes, when I have nothing else to do, I'll play it for a few hours. It also motivates me to want to go outside for a jog.

The Wii Fit is great! I almost feel guilty "playing"! Please note that I don't like exercising, but this doesn't quite seem like exercising because you earn credits which unlock new activities! I did rhythm boxing and was quite sore the next day! I have to work it in after my children go to bed or they want to play, too!

I love my Wiifit. I especially like the lower body strength training, and the Island Lap run and the Free run. I'll put it on the 20 minute Free run, but I don't put it back on regular tv. I wanna live in that island town! lol

However, I should have known better on the hula hooping. I've had 2 back surgeries, and since I'd been doing good for several years, I got too confident. I tore a disc again around the 1st of June. I'm sure that the hula hooping did it. stupid me!!!!! However, it hasn't been bothering me in a few weeks. I sure don't want a 3rd back surgery!

how much stuff do you have to buy in addition to the wii for wii fit? my roommate has a wii and I'm thinking about getting wii fit but I'm not sure if it'll be a waste cos I probably will only be living w/ her for this year and next.

Yes it is a big box with a handle that contains the game, the balance board (step block thingy ), and instructions. It's 89ish bucks too.
