Hey everyone -

Just thought i'd say hello and introduce myself. i'm a 32-year-old ex-roller derby gal ("fresh meat" is what we called new girls - or sometimes "skater tots" ) who gained a bunch of weight once i wasn't skating several times a week, for hours at a time. But the weight problem wasn't necessarily new.

So i'm back on the wagon! Happy to meet you all!

hi and welcome! I LOVE the name "skater tots," and also totally love your jogging hippo -- the hippo is my totem animal!!

What kind of plan do you have to get healthier? Keep us posted on your progress : )

I've always wanted to roller derby as I love roller skating... but, I've always been intimidated because I'm so short and I'm afraid of getting clobbered.

Well, I'm doing the Weight Watchers thing, but on my own (I still have the literature from when I did it, oh, 10 years ago).

Whoa. i just realized i've been out of college for 10 years now! Time warp.
