I like "pump up the jam" by Technotronics. I think there are lots of versions of it, but the dance one which is more "pumpy" is the one i like. It really gets me in the mood for some weight lifting

I have very eclectic taste in music, but here's a bit of it:

Twilight Zone---Golden Earring
GoldDigger---Kanye
Fergalicious--Fergie
Pressure--Billy Joel
Sexyback--Justin Timberlake
Hips Don't Lie--Shakira
Crazy--Gnarles Barkley
The Power--Snap
Urgent--Foreigner
Pale Shelter--Tears for Fears
Dirty Laundry--The Eagles
Love My Way--Psychidelic Furs
Big In Japan--Alphaville
The One Thing--INXS

The list goes on and on... I hope you find something to get you going! Without music, I couldn't workout.

Although I have to turn the treadmill down slower to step to the beat, there are a few songs that keep me on it. Queen's Another One Bites the Dust, Layla ... and I'm drawing a blank

I've got some Chili Peppers ....

I'll post some more after I hear them today.

I don't really workout, but my eight-year-old daughter and I love to get up and "dance." We are mainly country music fans, so most of the time it's country.

We get up and do our version of a two-step to Josh Turner's "Your Man," or Brooks and Dunn's "Boot Scootin' Boogie" and do out version off line-dancing to Trace Adkins' "Honky Tonk Bodonkadonk," or Alan Jackson's new one, "Good Time." The one song of Trace Adkins that always makes me want to get up and move someway is his song "This Ain't No Thinkin' Thing."

My daughter just loves to dance with me to the Backstreet Boys.

I recently introduced her to the 80's stuff I listened to as a teenager, and have been teaching her some of the dances we used to do, so I guess I am working out, just not in the "real excercise" (as she describes it) kind of way.

Default My MP3 Player

What I use for street jogging 7 mph I liked how SusanB put that in context because speed and location REALLY makes a difference for me. If I am doing a slower routine, I don't listen to faster music.

There may be some typos, CD labels instead of performers, or misinformation because I just copied my song list from my comp:

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama
Miranda Lambert - Kerosene
Motely Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls
Motely Crue - Kickstart my Heart
Motely Crue - Same Ol' Situation
I Wanna Be A Rockstar
Poison - Nothing But A Good Time
Poison - Unskinny Bop
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
Parr - St. Elmos Fire
Three days Grace - Pain
Kenny Loggins - Highway to the Danger Zone
Trace Adkins - Ladies Love Country Boys
- Drunker Than Me
Twisted Sisters - We're Not Gonna to Take it
U2 - Vertigo
Van Halen - Dreams
Buckcherry 15 - Crazy Bit*h
Seether Finding - Fake It
Green Day - Longview
Linkin Park - Bleed it Out
Christina aguilera - Lady Marmelade
Gloria Gaynor - I will survive
House of Pain - Jump around
Not Going Down
Kelly Pickler - Red High Heels
Black Horse and the Cherry Tree
The Killers - Somebody Told Me
The Kinks - Turning Japanese
Weird Al - Canadian Idiot
Joan Jett or Britney Spears - I love Rock n Roll
Barry Manilow - Copacabana
Barry Manilow - If You Like Pina Coladas
Bon Jovi - Living on a Prayer
Charlie Daniels Band - Devil Went Down to Georgia
Goo Goo Dolls - Better Days
Guns N Roses - Sweet Child of Mine
Kid Rock - Cowboy
Kiss - I Wanna Rock and Roll All Night
Marky Mark - Good Vibrations
Martina McBride - Independence Day
Neil Diamond - I'm Hooked on a Feeling
Ozzy - Crazy Train
Poison - Talk Dirty To Me
