Oh Hey Thanks Mel, Midwife, and Meg. (I saw your post on the other thread, funny story. )

Yep, the boys made it special for me. My morning began at the gym. Often I think about the "what if I had never lost this weight, where would my head and heart be," Today it was really on my mind. I was just so grateful that even though I am now 40 I feel fitter, stronger, and just more alive than did at 30.

However, that didn't make entering 40 into the cardio equipment any easier. With something between a grimace and a grin I entered 40 for the first time.

So, finished the workout, showered, and went shopping for a new swimsuit. Came home, DH and the boys gave me my present. It's a halfbike that hitches up to my bike for DS2 to ride upon. We took it out for a spin and had a great time. DS2 was so proud. He called out to all the neighbors who happened to be outside as we rode by. He's such a ham. After the bike ride DH and I showered and went to Marcella's for dinner. Don't ask don't tell. I dunno, there was wine, five different cheeses, some bread, a warm crock of olives, it's all a blur now.

After dinner we drove to Grandview for Jeni's ice cream. Yes Mel, you called that one. The line was insane. I opted for a skim latte from Stauffs and we sat outside watching people try to parallel park their SUVs in tiny spaces right in front of us.

Good times.

Ahhh yes. I did that this January. It's June now and still a little freaky.

Happy B'day (belated!)
