Afraid I don't know what you mean by "HG's" . . . but my bag of baby carrots counts approximately 14 pieces as a serving. Hope that helps a little bit.

Carrots and I believe onions have zero points for a 1/2 cup serving, but they are not unlimited like most of the zero point veggies. I believe both are 1 point for a cupful if cooked.

actually W/W has an article called when zero doesn't equal zero and it addresses the zero point veggies and that article came out after the article on why COOKED carrots and COOKED onions have points.

Leaders have said that the cooked values have gone away again but I think the books still list it.

All veggies and fruits are 1/2 a cup per serving (to mark off for your 8 good health guidelines ---- which is in the week 1 booklet or under THE PLAN for online) but the default serving is 1 cup.

How many baby carrots make up a serving will depend one factor --- how big are the carrots and how many fit into a 1/2 cup measure.

Most of us oldbies refuse to count carrots and onions no matter how much we eat but that is because of most of us aren't eat tons of them.

BTW the database for the points tracker has a glitch that counts points for zero point veggies over a certain amount....that is because it only recognizes the cal/fat/fiber so that the recipe builder has accurate info.

I was under the impression that 1 cup of baby carrots was a pt! I just checked my tracker and it says that 1 cup = 1 pt!
