Cravings question
Why is it that when ever I start a new diet, I start craving foods I normally don't eat.
I've got a bad craving for ice cream, and chocolate. I can't remember the last time I've had either! So if I can normally live with out them, why do I want them now? It can't be just the sugar.
It probably is part of the sugar. Also, I've noticed that when I know I can't have something...I want it more than if I was eating normally without restrictions. But it mostly is the body wanting sugar... Make some sf chocolate pudding... that helps, get some lf no sugar added fudgesicles..those'll help too.

I can't really have ice cream - because I'm lactose intolerant, and same goes for pudding. I'm not a big chocolate person either. I have it in the house all the time - for guests, and usually end up tossing it because it gets old.
It just doesn't make any sense to me. I don't remember these cravings the last time I started P1. and I've only been on it officially for 2 days.
