Default fiction featuring weight loss...

Hi,

I just picked up this book today at Barnes and Noble, and it's really good so far:

http://www.amazon.com/Bikini-Season-...8733643&sr=1-2

The title is Bikini Season, and the author is Sheila Roberts. The storyline is about a group of friends who turn their cooking club into a weight loss club so they can help each other out.

Enjoy!
Sherry

I haven't read Janet Evanovich yet. I keep meaning to pick up her books, especially since I live right near the town where they're based.

Take care,
Sherry

I have read her 1-3 series. Very Funny stuff. I have through 5, I just need more time to read! lol

Great topic, BTW. I love weight loss novels, I will have to compile the ones I have read and list them.

Thanks for the tip - I am an avid reader and always enjoy hearing about an author I have not tried yet.

I am sure I will end up at Borders sometime this week -I will check and see if they have the book.

Thanks!

I had to chime in here..... I love Stephanie Plum!! It's such quick & easy reading - and its always good for a laugh And even though its the same characters - I never get board with them! I'm up to Lean Mean 13 - and waiting for it to come out in Paperback. Plus I've read one of the "in between the numbers" books.

I do think it would make a fabulous movie!! But who would they get to play the sexy Ranger?!?!? LOL!

Cool Fun Fiction

The Stephanie Plum series is great! I had to laugh over the comment re who would play Ranger. Even in impromptu discussions at the library, the talk quickly turns to who could measure up to Ranger. And it's always Ranger first, with only passing attention paid to Morelli and to Stephanie. I don't think anyone could measure up. For fiction related to weight loss, there is a book called "Just Desserts" (actually there is more than one book by that title, I think this one is by Patti Massman and Susan Rosser) that you might be able to get at a library; I can't find it on any book site. It's really good and one of the few I've kept after reading. Also for a hilarious book there is "Drop Dead Gorgeous," I forget the author's name but it's the Blair Mallory series. Only two books in the series and the other one is just so-so, but DDG had me laughing out loud!
