Question figuring out calories in a recipe.

Hi all i made this following recipe the other day but i have no clue how to figure out calories in something. Anybody have any ideas? thanks
1 avacado, cubed
12 cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cucumber, cubed
1 can chick peas
3 scallions, chopped
1 tsp chopped garlic
2-3 tsps lemon juice
salt and pepper

You can either add up the calories of all the individual items, then divide by the seving size. Or go to an on line calorie counter and pop in the ingredients and it will do it for you. Try calorie-count.com or nutritiondata.com, both have a "recipe analyzer" section.

Sounds yummy by the way.

oh thats great! thanks. i had no idea there was a website that would do that.
it was yummy and lots of it. i brought some to a friend and still had enough for 3 days.

Yeah, it's amazing that there's websites that can do that. We're very fortunate to be living in an age where we've got lots of "tools" to help us out.

Unfortunately we're also surrounded by fast food and a temendous amount of other temptations . Just got to be that much more vigilient. And keep on using those tools and anything else we can get our hands on.

Oh, and what a good friend you are to bring her that yummy salad.
