Default Weigh-in today/week 4 of the program

I'm actually ending week 2 of Phase 2 and had my weekly weigh-in today!
I had a loss of 1/2 lb...making my total now 9lbs.
Question is though...is it common to slow down a bit with the losses?? My first weighin was 6 lbs during Phase 1. Then another 2 1/2 a week later.
My history is that I'm insulin resistant and with other plans I'd yo-yo up and down with my weight losses. It was really difficult to lose and now with SB my losses aren't typical of that! This is my first time in years of successive losses. I'm guardedly excited!!

First off congratulations on your 9lb weight loss that is awesome! Yes I would say it is normal for your weight loss to slow down at first going into phase 2 - the norm is 1-2lb loss per week. Good luck and keep posting

Relax - it'll happen. It is very typical for loss to slow after phase I. It's best to look at it on a monthly basis, rather than weighing every day. We fluctuate naturally.

on your loss so far. Those of us with IR, PCOS or Diabetes lose slowly.

I do weigh in on a weekly basis...would rather do it monthly (hate, hate, hate the scale!) but that's not too smart given the fact I need accountibility. Good...re: the advice!!! Thank you so much! I just needed to hear that it's going well and what to expect! Love this site and also the SB one that I'm on!!!

I have seen my scale stay the same for several weeks in a row and then finally decrease. So, don't be discouraged if your weight loss slows. I am in that holding pattern again. I know that if I keep eating healthy and exercising the weight will come down.
