It comes with a little package of croutons. I don't eat them. The cheese is fairly large shreds of parmesan. I am pretty good at estimating (I check myself periodically). I would say that 2 Tbs is the max it could be. The chicken (about the same as I would use - 2.5 - 3oz)looks and tastes exactly like the plain, boneless, skinless chicken breast that I buy at Costco. In fact, the whole thing seems exactly the same as I would make at home - right down to the little tomatoes. I am going to make a point of asking exactly what they do to the chicken.
How to allot calories is what I am trying to figure out. It seems to me that the main things to count are the chicken, the cheese and my own dressing. Like you say, the big pile of romaine and veggies is not the problem.
I didn't get fat by eating too much lettuce. I might even take a measuring spoon and check out how much cheese is really in there. It is usually in a little pile, so I could probably get it all. My husband will probably move to another table when I whip out my measuring equipment.
