Default Okay, Let's get serious here

Okay, so I had a little trip up. I hate admitting that, but I have to for accountability. I had about a week and a half of eating whatever I wanted while not working out because I was sick. However, I'm back and I'm healthy now and up about a pound. Hopefully with some serious refocusing I can be down two by next week's weigh-in day. I wanna cross 150 sooo bad!!! It's like some evil barrier. I was getting close, I could feel it, and then *crash* I messed up for a week and a half. I gotta get into those 140s. I just have to!!! How are you guys doing? I hope all is well and you have all been more successful than I this past week and a half.

It was only a pound. You're still very close to seeing 149 on the scale. Get back to those good habits! Continue on!

That's actually pretty good (in my opinion) if you are up only a pound. It will ge gone in no time!

LMR -- glad to see you're back on the wagon again. I hate interruptions like that, don't you?

This past wk for me was like that. Eating wise was fine but exercise was elusive this past wk. Kids off, oldest had her wisdom teeth out, TOM (curse-ed, PITA TOM!! ), time and energy constraints. BUT, yesterday -- yes, Easter Sunday morning -- I got right back on track, even though Sundays are normally my rest day. W/be working out 7 days this wk to compensate for last wk. The scale didn't go down for me yesterday but it didn't go up either. Hey, I'll take what I can get. I ate my Easter dinner but didn't feel the need to gorge. Today may be different as all the leftovers are in the fridge!

Let's all keep our eye on the ball and the bigger picture. Winter coats are just about outta here and the fleshy season is nearly upon us!! If that doesn't get our butts in gear, what will??

Me too!!!

My magic number seems to be 170. I was down to 168 *briefly* and now I'm back up to 171. I know I can do it, but I need to get my act back together and get serious again ... just like the title says.

Thanks for the support guys. I love you all. Hat Trick, sounds like it was a tough week for you too. Great job on getting back on track- on Easter of all days! I just came back from the gym- gave myself a real intense workout, and as usual, it felt amazing.

Hey littlemoonrabbit - well done on getting back on track so quickly!

I fell off ... again! It seems like there's this threshold - I get SO close and then sabotage myself? I got down to 159lbs nov then fell off and went up to 176lbs... I restarted jan, got down to 154lbs mid feb and fell off again - right back to 176lbs! It doesn't even amaze me the amount I can gain in such a short space of time - oh well! Back on again and will update ticker at weigh in next sunday... argh!
