Has anyone tried:

Cooking Light Annual Recipes 2002

or a previous year? I am looking for a good low-fat cookbook. I am hoping for one that has a wide variety of foods.. not just american cooking, but chinese, indian, etc. I have checked this book out in the bookstore and looks good.. but wanted some first hand opinions. If you have any other books to suggest... let me know. Just a heads up.. I need something that isnt purely vegetarian.

I don't this book. However, I do the Cooking Light web site (http://www.cookinglight.com/cooking). They have hunderds (thousands?) of free recipes there. I have tried several different ones with great success.

I totally agree that cookinglight is a great website. Thats why I am considering buying the book!

Why don't you just print and bind the recipes you like? It's what I did, so I got exactly what I wanted, and for free, too! And it's not a lot of work!
Also, try www.worldwiderecipes.com, they have fabulous links, or try www.mayoclinic.com, there are lost of recipes on that one, too.

I bought the Cooking Light cookbook and think it's well worth it. BTW, I found the cheapest price on it at my local Super Wal-mart--was $17 or $19 there.
