Thank you for the review - they were mentioned on the Hungry Girl site but hadn't been tried yet. Just wanted to point out that you can also just throw a spoonful of Benefiber into any liquid or food and it has NO flavor or grittiness. My son gets fiber in his hot chocolate, meatloaf etc
The iced tea is amazing! It tastes like the ice tea powder that you'd regularly mix with water in a pitcher. I was surprised that it was so good. The mix is right with the Benefiber and all that stuff, like protein bars and whatnot. I want to find the lemonade one now, I'm sure it's delicious. (:
I have the All Bran Mix-ins on my shopping list. Benefiber also works for us because fiance and step son are very picky and I throw it in just about everthing...
I wonder how long it will take them to realize that the nutrition information on the label is wrong. There is no way for a product to have 12 grams of carbohydrate, and only 20 calories. With 4 calories per gram of carbohydrate, the minimum calories this product could have is 48. I assume someone though it was ok to "not count" the fiber calories, but as far as I know, USDA labeling requirements do not allow you to do that. Do they?
Still, love the product and will continue to use it.
