It's a classic story...you lose a bunch of weight, and then something happens, and all your previous pounds return, and bring a bunch of friends along!
Well, I've lost those friends!
My previous fattest ever was 230, I lost (and regained) 40lbs. twice from that point. This last time, my 40 brought 23.5 "friends".
I've gotta say, some friends are easier to say goodbye to, than others!
I must admit, there's a tiny bit of bitter sweetness today (you know, wahhh, now I'm ONLY back where I started, that kind of negative self-talk)...but I'm IGNORING it completely, and focusing on how wonderful it actually is!

Linda, I am just overjoyed for you girl friend. Overjoyed.
I hear you on the bittesweet part. Whenever I hit a milestone, I too would reflect back and think how things could have been different. But like you, I quickly moved on, didn't dwell on those feelings and focused on the positive. And man oh man - there is SO much positive in what you are doing.

You know, as we go through life we keep friends close to us that are good for us. We get rid of friends that are bad for us. Nice going on getting rid of a few friends that aren't good for you.
Congrats to you! I know exactly what you mean, it is frustrating to be "back where you left off before..." BUT, you're on a great roll right now! Just keep doing what you're doing, and before long, you'll be at your skinniest ever!
