I didn't see a March thread started so I hope it's ok that I made one.
My foot is starting to feel better, but I may just walk on the TM tomorrow and resume walk/run on Wednesday. I don't want to push, but thanks everyone for your concern.
I forgot it was a new month! I would've posted in the February thread until June!!!
Seven miles for me. Hit the Zone around mile four, so the rest was cake. There was a bit of a breeze, and I didn't realize it was only 19* outside until I got home and saw the news. No wonder my face was chilly!
4.64 yesterday for me. Accidentally ran teh 5K track at school wrong and only did 2.5 mils, so I went back and re ran the part near my apartment..... good job me.

I forgot to post for yesterday: 40 mins for the jogging part. Not sure of the mileage, because my sister was walking, and I was just going at her pace.
Diva, thanks for the new thread. I'm with Kara, I would have just kept on posting on the Feb thread, lol.
I haven't run in more than a week - can't wait to get back into it!
I'm staying in the treadmill room at the hotel again so hopefully I can at least do some of that, though I don't really count it like running the way I do when I run outside.
Hello! I'm back, I've done lots of eating, drinking and socialising and only a little running, but I've had a fantastic weekend which is what counts. I did a short run the morning of the wedding, and a 7.5 interval session yesterday, now I'm back home I'm going to get back into it and try for a long run this weekend - but with more rest before it this time!
I saw a few requests for photos - try clicking here. I think that you can view them even if you're not on facebook, if they don't work give me a shout and I'll try to upload them to somewhere else. There are also some more on the hotel's website, but I'm not on any of them!
There's a slight difference compared to the photos that are usually taken of me...
It was 58* when I left the house at 6:02 this morning! I felt 20 pounds lighter running without my windbreaker, gloves, and hat! Sunday morning when I ran it was 19*! Quite a change in two days!
Got my four miles done in 35:18 - under a nine minute per mile pace. I was happy! Then I walked the remainder of an hour. I got back feeling terrific. I might add a half mile to a mile walk on the end of all my runs now. It's a great way to cool down! I've been walking for a couple minutes, maybe two or three, after a run, but today's extra mile and a halfish walk really was beautiful.

Kara, do you do any warm up walking before your run? It says to do that with the c25k, but I wondered if folks keep doing that once they get to the straight running part, or does jogging become the new warm up? I usually walk for 5 minutes or longer before, and 10-15 minutes after, which seems to agree with me, but I'm just curious what more experienced runners do.
Hi all - 3.5 miles for me today. Will get a long run in later this week.
Cheryl - I ALWAYS walk before and after I run. If I'm on the treadmill, I'll walk a 1/4 mile at 4mph; outside, I do the first song on my running play list - so about four minutes. I walk to cool down, too, which makes stretching that much easier
Kara - I love watching your little running girl packing in the miles - and four miles in 35 minutes? Rock on!
Helen - I looked at the pics form your sister's wedding - you both look gorgeous!! I like your running one, too! You have wonderful legs!!
Cheryl, I just start running. Literally, right out the front door. I do walk at least a half mile to cool down and I ALWAYS stretch for about ten minutes after I've finished.
Heather, thanks for the compliments on my littler running girl! Some days I feel like she's just chugging along and some days I feel like there's so far to go!
Laura, you make me laugh! Enjoy your time on the hotel treadmill!
I got in my five miles this morning but it was a battle the entire time. I still came in at 46:30, though. I don't know if what I ate last night was too much (it was a lot of protein, no junk to speak of), if I was just not feeling great (I'm kind of sad that Tom's not back yet), if I ran too hard yesterday, or if it was just some unexplained hump day deal. I pushed through. My goal is to RUN all the training miles because I want to RUN the whole marathon, so I figure I'm going to have to deal with some feeling unmotivated on race day and this is just a little splash of training for that. Hopefully tomorrow's run will be better.
