Default I won't lie--- I'm posting this just b/c I need a smile today

So last night I didn't go to bed until 2am or so...

There was a GIANT argument last night and there is some MAJOR problems going on in my family... I'd rather not get into it b/c I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do.

Needless to say, I'm normally a really upbeat person. I can't say I've ever been depressed my whole life, even when fat and single in my teenage years.

But I'm feeling it bigtime today. There's just this frown on my face and a crease in my forehead that won't go away. I feel weary... and lonely...

I just don't know what to do. And no one can tackle this issue but me, which sucks... I can't go to anyone else I knwo with this b/c if the problem resolves itself eventually, they won't change the awful feelings they'll have towards this family member once they talk to me...

So I need a smile today guys. ::sigh:: I'm not a comfort eater really... but I am a SPITE eater. And I was just so angry at the WORLD today that I went and got 2 slices of cheese pizza.

No too bad. It won't kill me. I'm planning a healthy dinner tonight.

Plus I only ate about 500 calories yesterday b/c the broo-ha-ha happened before dinner, my major calorie meal of the day and I was too upset to eat anything for the rest of the night. Again, something which has NEVER happened in my entire life

(I'm the person who had 2 wisdom teeth taken out and felt like crap so I went to a buffet... go figure!)

Breatheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Wow. That sucks. I hope you feel better soon and get this all resolved.

Rent a sad movie. You need some catharsis. I was depressed today and spent my afternoon crying while watching a sad movie. Actually, I just feel worse now. DON'T RENT A SAD MOVIE. =/ Doesn't work.

Family problems are the pits. =( =( =(

Jen,
I am sorry you are going through this. But, can I say that you have a fabulous attitude regarding your diet! Wow...2 slices of cheese pizza? Personally I don't think that is horrible as I will occasionally work that into my daily calories.

Hang in there. I know it isn't easy. Find something to occupy your time/thoughts while you are considering what to do...exercise, call a good friend, call your mom, journal, rent a comedy, go see a movie, exercise draw, whatever....refocus your self. Maybe try eating an oreo cookie in AT LEAST five bites! (jk on that one...)

Hang in there!

I am sorry you are feeling this way...sometimes it help to journal those feelings...it's a real catharsis. Often it will let them go, at least for a while...then journal again. It helps to keep those thoughts from "spinning around" in your head.

Good luck!
