I've been on this site for almost 6 years. Hard to believe. No matter what diet / food plan you are following, no matter what your exercise preferences, or what problems you might struggle with - this site is so big that you're sure to find some group that you can call home with.
It does seem difficult to start a thread and get people to come to you. My suggestion is to look at a few different threads, find one or two or more that interests you, pop in and introduce yourself. People are very welcoming to new folks. And if you don't find a warm fuzzy at first, look for another thread.
There's a lot of great advice to be had here. All kinds of challenges if you find that motivating too. Probably one of the best weight support sites on the internet.
Now if only I
took the advice I can give so freely to others, I might be over with my weight loss journey by now
