Default Trader Joe's Round Up

Searched threads for a round-up of everyone's favorite TJ purchases and found a couple ...

*3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57308&highlight=trader+joes
*3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48328&highlight=trader+joes

... but they're both pretty old so I was wondering, for those of you who have a TJ near enough to regularly shop there, what are some of your favorite purchases that fit very well into your diet

I'll start (and with the most obvious one)

Fage Yogurt
assorted nuts
produce, obviously (but I'm strict on what I buy because I don't need large bags of organic produce that will go bad before I have the chance to use them)
frozen artichoke hearts
frozen bell peppers
frozen seafood (thinking about buying the seafood trio this week and making a cioppino)
parmesan reggiano
ground beef (96% lean although I've cooked it and I don't know if I agree with 96%)
TJ peanut butter (all natural and yummy - want to try their almond butter someday too!)
vanilla extract
EVOO

anybody have any ready-prepared meals they find there that are on-plan?

I like the frozen greenbeans. They are very tiny and I LOVE them. I also get my organic chicken stock there and the laughing cow wedges. I know its available at most grocery stores but its cheaper at TJ.

I get various cheeses and nuts there. Also Fage Greek Yogurt, gourmet chicken sausages, NSA marinara sauce, Goddess salad dressing, frozen veggies, especially the green beans and artichoke hearts, I love the salmon burgers and they used to have tuna burgers too but I haven't seen them lately. They had a frozen cioppino that was to die for, but my DH got food poisoning from it, so I don't get it anymore. I am a little wary of all of their seafood nowadays. DH loves their granola cereals, and dried sausages. And we used to love the frozen orange chicken, but needless to say, that's off limits nowadays.
Oh, and I get the soy corn dogs for the kiddies. They have no idea they are soy.

I got stuck out of town for work, so I hit a Trader Joes to hopefully find some stuff that I could cook in the kitchenette in my hotel room (nuker, fridge and cook top). I bought "Balela" which is a chickpea, black bean and tomato salad that was awesome, a prepackaged dish called Punjab Choley that was basically chick peas, green onions and lots of spices in a tomato sauce--recommended to be served over rice but I ate it like a stew/soup and loved it, and I bought some grilled cilantro lime chicken breast that were great. Also got some veggies--the broccoli was very good, seemed to taste better than the stuff I get at my grocery store back home

I'll definately be hitting the Trader Joes back home now that I've shopped at one.....

Edit: Orange and Bergamot Green Tea--served cold in a wine glass it almost is as good as a glass of chardonnay! OK, maybe not almost as good, but it's still good.....

Yes, it costs much less than Fage. I had read somewhere about a taste-test done on TJ's Greek yogurt vs. Fage brand, and tasters actually preferred the TJ's brand. I can't remember where I saw that, though. I do know that I like it much better, although I will buy Fage when I can't get to TJ's.
