So I am new in this weight loss thingy, well not really new, but this time I mean it really seriously.

First I would like to say, I was born in europe, so excuse some of my english :-) I come here in USA because of marriage 2 years ago. We have with my hubby 16 months old baby boy :-) I love them both so much, so I would like to be healthy for them.
I still dont know, where in this forum I could belong?...
Today is my big day. I have big troubles with yoyo efect. So I will just start slowly. My goal for this week (starting today) is drink at least 6 x 8 oz glasses of water.
Well as u can see, I have over 100lbs to lose and I would be happy to be in contact with somebody, who have same problem :-)
I know what you mean about the yo-yo thing. My weight has ranged from 120-250 pounds. I think a big part of things is not getting into an all or nothing mindset, which I have a tendency to do with both food & exercise. For example, I used to feel if I couldn't do the 45 mins of cardio plus weight training workout I had planned, why bother? And then weeks, sometimes months would go by before I exercised. Now, I tell myself, "consistency is key" (forgot who said that) & figure a consistent 30 mins of cardio is better than nothing. It's all about keeping the habits.
