Default Meal Replacement Shakes

Anyone here that use them? I tried my boyfriends powdered shake stuff you mix with water from GNC and I liked it and got really full off of it. So I bought my own lower calorie stuff from there. I think it has 180 cals in 2 scoops and you mix with water. I wouldn't use it for a full meal replacement, but for a mini-meal replacement. The chocolate flavor is really good.

I like some of them but they tend to give me gas. :-(

I also like MET-RX protein plus bars, but they're really expensive.

I always drink a shake for breakfast. I think it's a good way to get a good nutritious start to the day . I do 1 scoop whey protein, 1/4 cup powdered milk, water, ice... and either 1 tbsp flaxseed, a couple tsps. peanut butter or almond butter... and or some frozen fruit. Very yummy!

The only ones I've tried are slim fast and I think their great for when your on the run! I won't mind trying some new ones which ones are the one you guys use. I would need to know the brand or name so I could find them in the stores.

When I'm on the run I drink EAS Advent Edge shakes. They're yummmy, I like the Cafe Caramel flavor . 110 cals, 3g fat, 1g impact carbs, 15g protein! and a whole buncha vitamins and minerals.

I like real food too much for those...

I just cannot abide the thought of giving up an actual meal for a drink lol.

I have one once and a while, I have a protien one and usually only after I work out. I have the whey gourmet in chocolate and it is good, I usually have it with milk. I also have one of the whey gourmets, the jucie in cran raspberry, it is much lower in calories and I make it with water. I think I will have one tomorrow morning, thanks for reminding me!

i had tried a whey protein ages ago but didn't really like the taste of it.

i got a meal replacement recently for my boyfriend as he is on the road for work and often misses all meals. its easy to have a shaker with the powder in it and he just adds some water, where ever he is and he's got a meal.

i find that it is grainy and watery - i could not finish a drink. i want to find one that i can use, but its not a cheap experiment.
