Talking what is your musical motivation?

well yesterday while busting my tail i realized that not only is the tv so incredibly boring when there is nothing on, and then with commercials.... but that what i was listening to really makes a difference in how hard to workout. so i thought it would be fun to see what everones musical motivation is.

i like to listen to hard rock... punk, death metal for some reason it makes me work out aggression and workout realllllllly hard. even though its not my normal music that i listen to. also dance, drum n bass or any dj is good stuff to.

my two top picks this week suicidal tendencies and dj shadow.

Hi eyerenah,
I like to listen to anything that is upbeat and can get my butt moving alot faster than normal.
I try to walk about an hour a day and wear my headset. The faster and more upbeat it is the faster I go.

Disturbed, Rage, Rammstein, Velvet Revolver, STP, My "angry music cd" that the BF burnt for me.. are all great to exercise to. I also have fast beat dance stuff for cardio especially running. it really really helps to have a beat you can match your strides to!

Love the upbeat, sing-along type of music. I like all kinds: Eminem, Usher, JayZ, Justin Timberlake, NSync, Matchbox 20, Britney Spears, etc.

While I don't usually listen to music while I work out..I get really random songs in my head like today...

1) that "let me see your tootsie roll song"
2) Lately, 1 2 step
3) For the longest time
4) This one's for the gilrs
5) and...this litlte light is mine

I know its random but

I really like techno or house music when I work out bc of the beat. There are a few songs from the Tomb Raider soundtrack that really push me and when you work out, what better visual is Angelina Jolie kicking butt in the flick......well I like it anyway P Daft Punk is a good one too.
