Well I'm back. I have to say that my food intake was ok on holiday, not too much bad stuff. and most of the time it was pretty hot so i didn't really feel like eating too much - we were so busy that there was no time for the boredom munching I am a pro at!

Got a couple of nice compliments from the BF while we were on holiday, one was that my bottom was cutting up (getting definition back!) and also that I looked great in my bikini, like i had lost a lot of weight! so yay...

But shopping... well there was a whole nother story. I don't know about you guys, but I am getting pretty good at tuning out the 'you're too fat for our clothes' looks you get from anorexic shop assistants? Sometimes I want to shake them and point out that being at least 4" taller than most of them and having nice broad shoulders and hips my skeleton wouldn't even fit some of their clothes... but anyway that was ok.. like i said I can ignore that, and always enjoy finding stuff i like that looks good, and then spending heaps as if to say.. well so what I earn more than you! he he... but what I wasn't prepared for were all the "what is he doing with her/you looks" i got when out and about with my gorgeous bf, who is starting to get his 8 pack back... i mean that's the killer to the self esteem. having other people tell you you aren't good enough for someone else to love because of your size... grr.. sorry to ramble, just wanted to see what you guys thought about this?

But the whole holiday was amazing and we had heaps of fun and now I am back at work and it is cold and raining.. i am wondering why we came back! oh yeah, the credit card bill has to be paid...

weight is still the same..but back to the gym tomorrow, and the bf and i have a no chocolate or takeaways till christmas thing going so hopefully that should spark some loss!

Hope everyone else is well and happy

Welcome eyereenah!

I've been back on track since Saturday, and the water weight is dropping away, I was back down to 171 this morning.

Well, I haven't lost any more weight on the scale but my clothes do feel a little looser. I'm getting ready to do an upper body workout DVD. Eating has been great and I'm working out regularly!

How's everyone else doing?

Way to go Amaya! I have been staying on track as well, just haven't had a lot of time to write. This is a heavy travel month for me so I hope I can keep it up!

How is everyone else doing?

Well I had a really good weekend, didn't really get any real exercise in, as I was really really tired (jet lag! worse with a 4 hour difference than it was last time i had to deal with an 18 hour one!).. but eating went really well. I managed to have fish 3 times... and not over eat too much when I went out for meals. But the exciting thing is that I am ordering a new pair of jeans in an NZ size 12 (us 8-10??) This is a WHOLE size smaller than my usual.. i tried them on and they are a little porno tight... but only at the front, not on the thighs and bum as clothes usually are on me.. so I have two weeks to really work on going to the gym so that they will look great! for christmas.. hopefully this will re motivate me a bit...also bf is going away for 2 weeks so nothing to do but exercise and try to stick to the no chocolate or junkfood plan!

Hi all - just thought I'd give you an update on Day 1 of my crazy travel schedule! Eating has been great so far - I had a balance bar for breakfast, a grilled chicken salad for lunch, and 1 airline package of Goldfish crackers. Just hope I can make it through dinner ok.

I did an hour on the treadmill too! Now if I can just keep it up for the rest of the week....

Have a great night (or day for our overseas friends)!

I might just be back in the running once more - I'm down to virgin poundage again - 169 exactly, with 6.5 pounds to lose in two weeks - that's doable for me, because when I'm on - I'm on! If nothing else, I'd really like to be at 165 (my original goal for X-mas - and that's only four pounds away, and X-mas is only 14 days away).
How is everyone else? I know this board has been pretty quiet.

eeek. i dont have a scale at home. lol am i blessed??? lol anyway i do however have a measuring tape and the first week i lost total from my body 9 inches. thats about 3 inches from my tummy, waist and other parts. a friend of mine went out of town before i started the challenge and came back like 2 days ago and she noticed a difference which means i must have lost some weight.... yAy.... but i do have to report something bad... i havent been working out as much as id like to. i guess mainly its b/c i work 3-11pm by the time i go to bed... 1 or 2am... then wake up... i am just so exhausted! i know thats no excuse but i am human (thats what i keep telling myself) *sigh* i just cant get over feeling guilty like i know id lose more if i just got my tush up and ALIVE!!! and worked out. ok enough feeling bad for myself.... i wish everyone luck on this third week... christmas is almost here!!!!!

Well, I'm still struggling... With the out of town travel and the holidays, it's pretty rough for me right now. Not to mention I have a ton of stuff going on at work right now. As a matter of fact, I'm working today...

I haven't weighed in a while so I don't know if I've lost anything or not. I'm just going to try to do the best I can until the end of December and really hit it hard in January. I'm determined to wear shorts this summer - I haven't in 2 years. I can't remember the last time I put on a swimsuit...

Good luck to everyone this week!
