well I am happy to say that I ran 3 miles and walked 2 miles today. I did say that I would step it up so here it is. Hopefully it works and I can lose these lbs in the time I want to.

well yesterday I walked 3 miles and today I walked 5. That is the good news. I am not sure where I am as far as my weight goes. I decided to wait until this friday to weigh in since I am nervos that I wasn't able to lose what I wanted. As far as when I last checked I still had 4 lbs to reach my halloween goal. Friday I will find out how far away that is now. Hopefully not that far since there is little time left.

Good job Samantha on losing more then expected and it is still not over!

Wow Samantha...what an accomplishment...you are doing better than your goal, and we still have more than two weeks left be 4 the end of the challenge.

You are doing great! The costume is great to!

Things are not looking good for me to meet the Halloween Challenge. I lost another 1/2 pound this week, but I need to lose 4.5 more in order to make it. Going to have to kick it into high gear to get as close as possible though.

Contracts Samantha!

You guys don't get discouraged!! If you don't meet your goal for Halloween, so what, really? You learned something about yourselves, and next time maybe your goal should be set a little lower. Think about it like this, if you only lost 10 lbs, that sure is better than GAINING 10 lbs, right????? Besides, as someone told me once on here, 10 lbs is nothing to scoff at. Try carrying a 10 lb bag of potatoes around ALL DAY LONG, DAY AND NIGHT. Think about it like that!!!

Good advice Samatha. I heard the same thing once with regards to a bowling ball. And I occassionally will pick up my 5lb weights and be glad its in my hand and not on my body.

Thanks

good news is that I am at 148! The bad news is that I have 3 lbs to lose in a week which will not happen but I am happy with losing 7 lbs in a month and a half or so. I started to run more so that may make my lbs drop more but I am not killing myself to lose the rest in 7 days. We will see and hope that 2 lbs drop but if not then that is alright. I just need to work on my eating a bit more. It isn't bad but it isn't the best either. Oh well I will see about that later though. That will be included in my next challenge. Hope everyone else is closer to their goal then I am. Good luck.

Well I finally lost more than .5 lbs. Actually I lost two this week which I am very happy about. Need to lose 2.5 to meet my Spooky Challenge, but I agree with Gabwill, just going to keep doing more of the same. We'll see if it happens. Either way I finally broke past 174 which has taken me several months, so I'm thrilled.

About four days left for this challenge.

I was thinking maybe we should have an awards ceremony/post for those that have achieved their goals...a way to kind of uplift those that worked really hard. Not to say those that didn't meet their goals didn't work hard....but just some sort of acknowledgement. A special post...???? I don't know what do you girls think??? I was just trying to think of some way that marks the challenge ending.

I have done horribly on this challenge, but lots of you girls are doing such a great job, you girls are awesome!

I think that's a great idea, but instead of only posting the ones who met their goal, how about posting what everyones final weight was? like:

Samantha - 22 lbs loss
Bob - 15 lbs loss
Pete - 9 lbs loss

Something like that?
