Since I don't have a scale, my goal will be for my too snug jeans to be a GOOD loose fit. Even though I want the scale to go down, I'd rather lose inches.
147 will be the magic number, I was able to get there briefly prior to the holidays, I want to get back there and stay.... just 8 or so pounds to lose, but these have been the hardest to get past.
My April Fool's Day Goal is 160 - so 10 pounds to go. I hope it's possible at all, but I need to stay motivated, as I have been getting sidetracked recently. I have visited my Mom and not only stopped losing, but even gained 1 pound back. Oh... just all that cake!!!
I still don't know how am I going to reward myself for achieving this goal, but surely I will find a way!!
Alright girls... Ammendment to my original goals.... I am now at 179 YEAH!! So 175 is not a low enough goal for me!! I have to have something to really strive for!
My weight goal is to lose about 10 pounds...so to make it to 169 is my goal for March!!! My birthday is at the end of March so I would love to be at (or below) 169 by then!!!
My personal exercise goal, is to
1) Go to the gym 5 days a week for 30 minutes MINIMUM!!!
2) Slowly increase running from 2 miles to 3 miles to 4 miles then to 5 miles a day.
3) Stretch, stretch, stretch, I want to be flexible again!!!
Hi everyone! I'm new to this board, but I love the idea of an April Fools' Day Challenge! I think I'll set my goal for 220... about 12 pounds.
A little about me: I just graduated college in December and am looking for my first "big girl" job, as I like to call it. Just started this most recent health kick, and actually found some support this time, and loving it already. HW: 248 / CW: 233 / GW: 160
I know I'll never be a small person, but I'll be happy with medium.
My Valentine's Day goal is no closer than it was when I set it, I've been stuck in the same place for over a month.
For April Fool's Day I'm going to stick with my Valentine's goal of 129 pounds. I need to break past 130 and I have a feeling it's going to take a lot of work. Complicating this even more is pretty much the entire month of March. I'm going to New Zealand for a few weeks and won't be as in control of my food options (all eating out all of the time). I'll just need to rely on portion control and lots of exercise.
Katia--- I am looking at your stats and I feel like my goal weight is so much higher than yours even if we have a 1 inch difference....I'm 5'5 and would like to be 140ish. What did your doctor think about your goal weight? I am wondering if my goal weight is not acurate at all...Hmmm...something to think about I guess!
Sacha, my goal weight has evolved a lot over time. It was originally 145 and I've inched it down to 125 over the past year as I've been able to see what my body looks like at different weights. When I lost the bulk of the weight, I realized that I am very small boned and not very curvy. I had been claiming that I was big boned for years, because it was an excuse to be overweight. When I slimmed down a bit I realized that I can't carry much excess weight without looking chubby. According to my body fat% and the way that I look, I still have a little work to do to get to my final goal.
Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is that your goal weight may be perfect depending on how your body carries weight. I wouldn't worry about whether it matches up with anyone else's, I would just look at how your body looks and feels at different sizes and find the right spot for yourself.
I'm in this one too!
My goals are to stay on my plan with the healthy life style. Once I get that down I will set weight goals! Not that I wouldn't be thrilled to loose a few (40) pounds
