Hello, I am new to the site and am looking for a support group. I would like to feel more comfortable in my body which doesn't necessarily mean losing weight but rather making better and smarter choices. I love healthy food but I have a horrible sweet tooth and don't listen to my body telling me when it's full. I was wondering if anyone here would like to start a small support group (10-20) where we can check in with each other everyday and keep each other motivated.

Yeah. I did something with a group on facebook a few months back just for two weeks but after a girl was going to charge for a workout program and everything. I like to work out and eat semi-healthy. I just need support for that extra 20%.

As long as you aren't a crazy person then I don't mind joining in on a group or something.

Haha I feel the same. I just want some people that are trying to live a better and healthier lifestyle and where we can share how we feel, our ups and downs, and tips.

You should be able to press on our names on this chat and send a private message. It is possible that you either have not been here long enough, or not posted enough to get this feature.

I'm also very very new (first post, in fact!), but I would really like the idea of some sort of support group... Did this ever take off?

I'd be in for a group w active users. I've been posting in those weight specific threads, but they tend to be really slow and sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself xD. Then the general weight loss thread moves so quickly it's hard to keep up. Would be nice to have something in-between.

This never kicked off, I feel that sometimes a facebook thread is better, but there would need to be new user rules, so that no randoms are in. I can only access this website when on my laptop, so it means that I don't always get the support I need.

If anyone would be interested, then please feel free to let me know.

I would be interested in joining in a small support group if this is going ahead, and if you don't mind having me! What I find most difficult about weight loss is my friends and family members my age are all slim and have never had to diet so they don't understand what I am going through.
I have colleagues in their 50s who have succeeded with weight loss and they are a great support for me but would really like to chat to people my own age too!

2) please.. absolutely no bullying or you will be removed straight away
3) let us know how your progress is getting on...
4) You must keep coming back to check in here, its not a 3FC alternative.
